Alzamort's Cursed Treasure
Alzamort's Cursed Treasure is an adventure game for 2-4 players. Players compete for points by collecting treasures and defeating monsters. Alzamort’s gold is also tempting, but it puts a deadly curse on the one who holds it.
The cursed knight is immortal because the damage he suffers is transferred to his home castle. Be careful not to let your castle get destroyed, as you will be out of the game.
The box contains a game board, dice, tokens, game pieces made in Finland, more than 90 cards and a manual in Finnish. DOWNLOADABLE ENGLISH MANUAL COMING SOON!
Stackable game pieces
The knight consists of three identical 3D-printed pieces. The number of pieces in the stack indicates the knight's remaining stamina, and the shield on top of the stack indicates that the knight has not yet been activated this round. Gold looted from Alzamort can also be attached to the knight's hand. This makes it convenient to carry game pieces on the board in one stack.
The game pieces are made in Finland.
Dangers of the kingdom
The deck will spawn a variety of enemies, and depending on your stamina or dice roll, you may not always be able to defeat them all at once. However, the monsters of the kingdom are suckers for food, and the knights usually carry a few bags of food just to distract the enemy for a while. But don't be too eager to use all your food bags, or you may find yourself in serious trouble just as a more ferocious monster comes along.
Cards with symbols
The cards have no text other than their names, but their function is described by symbols, which are explained in detail in the manual. This makes it easy to remember the cards, no matter what language you have learned the function in.
From the card decks useful items or, in most cases, enemies appear on the game board. Defeated enemies can be exchanged for treasure cards, which give you points and helpful abilities.
Alzamort - Expansions
New challenges
The Legends is a mini expansion pack that adds some variety to the basic game. There are rumours of more mythical monsters roaming the forests. Confirming these stories would bring great glory to (foolishly) brave adventurers.
The mini expansion contains 9 new cards: 2 for the other expansions, and 7 monsters for the base game. Three of the legendary enemies will be drawn or chosen to be included in the game.
Mystical objects
The Marketplace is an expansion that brings new items for the knights to use. Local merchants end up with old magic items that they don't necessarily know how to use, but are happy to sell to the knights anyway.
The expansion includes a new 21-card deck to help you in your race for gold and glory.
Magic of the Kingdom
The Sorcerer's Apprentice is an expansion that brings powerful spells for knights to use. The knights have persuaded the wizard to teach them the basics of magic to the point where they can use the old magic spells. You should carefully consider the best time to use the disposable runes.
The expansion includes a new 28-card deck that not only helps you defeat enemies, but can also help you to disrupt your opponent. AVAILABLE IN FINNISH ONLY!
